Ladislav Sutnar. Druhý ostrov Johna Bulla / George Bernard Shaw. Druzstevní práce, 1931
“A number of the Shaw book jackets demonstrate Sutnar's guiding principle: 'Each individual problem requires the answer to three fundamental questions: (1) What is the aim of the information to be conveyed? (to determine the typeface). (2) What is the content of this information? (to determine the means to be employed in the design). And (3) What is the relationship between this information and that which comes before and after in the series? (to determine the appropriate binding and layout).”
