“When Tibor Kalman called from New York and asked me if I knew about Vitra, I said, 'Of course, I'm sitting on an Eames chair!' Tibor had designed Vitra's previous books and they were hard to top. And now he was asking me to design the next Workspirit. The story about one day of life and work progressed thorough carefully placed holes in each page. The holes made you curious to turn the pages and encouraged you to look carefully at the details of the images.”
